Why was there a hearing?

Before filing the rebuke in the Motion for a New Trial on October 29, I had asked two members of the trial legal team if I could contact the judge and take him to lunch to discuss my challenge one-on-one. They said that it is not possible with an open case (we believed the case was open because there was no formal filing of the verdict). My biblical responsibility is to meet with the person who has offended me. You may recall that this same pattern occurred after I reviewed the medical records and requested a meeting with the St. Elizabeth’s CEO and Dr. Shokar to discuss my findings on November 8, 2021. Their refusal to meet ultimately led to my lawsuit to rebuke the evil. That’s why the current Motion was filed in Judge McGinnis’ court.

Interestingly, the judge scheduled a hearing, even though I had waived my right to a hearing and so had the defense.

The defense filed Briefs in Opposition on November 3 (above) and November 17 based on the briefing schedule they requested. It is important to note that none of the important accusations made in my Motion were denied in their Briefs. Of course, they denied there was bias and claimed that the evidence I presented was not newly discovered. Accordingly, they asked the judge to dismiss my Motion on technical grounds.

What was Judge McGinnis’s goal, given that a hearing was not requested? We all found out very quickly. He used his platform to inform the public that he had done nothing wrong, accused me of being disingenuous with my Motion, and stated that I was looking for someone to blame. He allowed no rebuttal to his explanation for not granting a new trial. He had his decision written out in advance.

This was his courtroom, therefore his prerogative. Our Wisconsin trial attorney, Joe Voiland, told me once, “A judge in his own courtroom is the most powerful person on the planet.”

I’m thankful Judge McGinnis took the Motion for New Trial seriously.

What led up to the hearing?

The judge unilaterally denied our Motions in Limine (MIL), without discussion on the MIL, resulting in a trial that allowed my religious beliefs and post-Grace’s death research regarding COVID and the medical industrial establishment to influence the jury. This situation happened during the pre-trial hearing on May 20.

Continuing on page 151:

In the Motion for New Trial, on page 30 (immediately below), we explained the critical importance of the MIL. The excerpt referenced on page 30 is from the actual MIL, which the judge reviewed BEFORE he denied our MIL on May 20.

Conclusion: the judge was warned of what would happen at the trial in advance, and we all witnessed this prediction unfold during the trial.

Everyone makes mistakes. In this case, I believe the judge got angry regarding my giving a pre-trial interview to the Post-Crescent and made a bad decision. Furthermore, in this case, I had 100% of the consequences, and the judge had none. He said he’d apologize if an article wasn’t published before the trial. No article was published. He didn’t apologize. An apology at that time would have presumably led to our MIL being revisited or the substance mitigated at the trial.

Why was the hearing important?

This reality on page 30 of the Motion for New Trial led to the conclusion on page 31 (citations removed):

Think about it. If I had a negative bias toward the medical industrial establishment before taking Grace to the hospital, I would have never taken her to the hospital. Her death motivated me to begin researching the system we’ve been programmed to accept. That’s why the post-Grace’s death research I’ve done was not relevant to the trial.

The jury made up its mind in about 15 minutes.

Regarding the quick decision, the judge chose this situation to mock me during the hearing on December 19. Specifically, he said, “The court finds that Mr. Schara, your desire for someone to blame, is an entirely understandable and very human emotion. However, 12 jurors, your peers, after hearing all the evidence that came in and being presented with all of the legal questions, decided against you. Quickly. Clearly. And really, without any concern or objection.” (See timestamp 30:08 – 30:46 of the hearing link below.)

Despite the way the trial proceeded, the real jury of my peers was shocked by the jury’s decision. Why? Because they listened to the evidence. They listened to Dr. Berdine’s testimony. So did the judge. Dr. Berdine was our medical expert.

In my opinion, Dr. Berdine was the most credible witness of the trial. Why? I have gotten to know him. He is a humble man who sensed he was called to do this work on behalf of Grace and what her case represented. This was the first case where he worked on behalf of a plaintiff. He did not take a penny for the hundreds of hours of work he did in preparation for, and including, the trial. The summary of his testimony is here for review:

The judge also reviewed Dr. Berdine’s scathing account relative to the staff’s use of Precedex. In his report dated December 6, 2024, he stated, “The only solution recommended by ANY of the physicians named as defendants in this case for the observed agitation of Grace was chemical sedation starting with Precedex.”

He added, “Precedex was NOT safe for Grace Schara at an infusion rate greater than 0.7 microgram/kg/hr. It does not matter what the prior experience of ANYONE has been with OTHER patients.” He then added, “Every time the use of Precedex by defendants failed to achieve the desired result and caused life threatening complications, the defendants got a bigger hammer by raising the Precedex dose.”

Most damning of his conclusion was, “On October 13, around 0000 [midnight] the Precedex was increased to 0.8 microgram/kg/hr. This was a deliberate overdosage. The predictable result of this dose change would be cardiovascular collapse. The only question would be how long it would take for the overdosage to become fatal.” (These caps and bold text are directly from the report.)

If the judge wasn’t shocked, why not? Is he not awake to what’s happening? If he was shocked, he had a responsibility to consider overruling the decision of the jury. This is called a ‘judgment notwithstanding the verdict.’ Could it be that the criminal investigation he was under, during Grace’s trial, influenced him not to take a stand for the truth?

The December 19 hearing

For those with ears to hear and eyes to see, the judge exposed his integrity to the anti-Christ system of injustice. He spent almost the entire 31 minutes justifying what he did. He had the right to defend himself.

For those interested in digging, you’ll notice many differences in the pre-trial transcript versus what the judge knit together during the December 19 hearing. He portrayed a different story than what I witnessed happen in his courtroom on May 20 and rebuked in the Motion for New Trial filed on October 29. There were no cameras in the courtroom during the May 20 pre-trial hearing, so the transcript from that day doesn’t communicate the emotion.

The judge also referenced a June 21 e-mail that attorney Mike Edminister (my lead trial counsel) wrote to him two days after the trial. The judge filed this e-mail with the Clerk of Courts on November 3, five days after I filed the Motion for New Trial.

Because of this filing, I met with a local attorney to get an understanding of how this e-mail related to the Motion for New Trial. The attorney’s response:

“Using an ex parte communication praising himself demonstrates that when the matter becomes personal, there is no deference to the rules.”

What I learned from this attorney was that Mike complimented the judge’s “evidentiary” rulings. That means “in front of the jury.” Everyone I talked with thought the judge did a good job in front of the jury, outside of not challenging their 15-minute decision. The e-mail has nothing to do with his MIL ruling during the May 20 pre-trial hearing.

Additionally, the attorney explained that this communication from Mike is considered an “ex parte communication.” That means a judge is supposed to share it with all sides immediately, or not even read it.

Finally, the judge allowed no opportunity for rebuttal during the hearing. I stood on the Motion and would have continued to stand on it if he had allowed rebuttal. Why? Because it was the truth.

Should we engage in a debate with a person who has demonstrated that they are not seeking the truth? (See Philippians 2:3-8)

The hearing was an important reminder that Judge McGinnis is not my enemy.

Comments after the hearing

Most of the comments I’ve seen and heard focused on the judge’s attitude, with several saying they were sorry I had to sit through this. I understand. However, there’s nothing to be sorry about, other than Grace not receiving a fair trial. This is what I believe I’ve been called to do.

As I was reflecting on the hearing, I was reminded of Oswald Chambers’ words that summarize God’s perspective as our personal trainer:

“God does not further our spiritual life in spite of our circumstances, but in and by our circumstances.” And, “We are not fundamentally free; external circumstances are not in our hands, they are in God’s hands, the one thing in which we are free is in our personal relationship to God. We are not responsible for the circumstances we are in, but we are responsible for the way we allow those circumstances to affect us; we can either allow them to get on top of us, or we can allow them to transform us into what God wants us to be.”

In closing

That is why the filing for a new trial was important.

Let’s not kid ourselves – COVID has divided the country. Accordingly, my MIL were the only tool to ensure Grace received a fair trial. The attorney who represented me at the hearing, Andy Barnhart, explained the context of this sentence to the group of supporters who gathered to discuss the hearing afterwards. Andy explained that while I have the Biblical duty to be outspoken publicly, in a trial, I have the right to have the protection of those public statements influencing the jury. Specifically, he said, “It is against the rules to allow something irrelevant to be allowed.”

In summary, for the court to have so callously and willfully shut down our team’s MIL, not to even hear a syllable, in hindsight, the only explanation is bias.

Final thoughts on the motion and the trial

My dual responsibilities since Grace’s death remain the same: rebuke evil and warn those with ears to hear. See Ephesians 5:11 and Ezekiel 33:8-9.

The goal in filing the Motion is the same as Grace’s trial – repentance. If a person repents, we win. In God’s economy, that’s all that matters.

God is leading us on an exciting mission. This last step has provided a bridge to the next.

Grace’s death has not been in vain.

We can’t look at the verdict as evidence of God’s perfect will. Juries get things wrong every day. Judges get things wrong every day. Of course, He knew the verdict before we ever set foot inside the courtroom. He is sovereign. There are no coincidences in God’s economy. God is also the God of justice. We can say His perfect will is for justice. Does He expect justice in man’s courtroom? We know He has a much longer view than we, and that view seemingly includes a loss being more important than a win. Why? Maybe for men to stop putting their trust in anti-Christ systems.

Judge McGinnis has set a date for a hearing on the Motion for New Trial that I filed on October 29: December 11 at 3:00 p.m.

I previously discussed the details of the Motion last month:

Before explaining the Motion, Grace is the reason for jumping into this fight. I don’t want my worst enemies to lose their best buddies to a system that is under government control.

The verdict on June 19 was in favor of the medical industrial establishment. Did the jury get it wrong? Juries get things wrong every day.

The defense, through their “experts,” said that by being in a hospital, you are giving implied consent, and that the drugs that euthanized Grace were normal in an ICU, so no informed consent is necessary. Doctors informing the family is not even necessary for the two prior overdoses; the third overdose is what killed Grace. Finally, their experts stated that a DNI (Do Not Intubate) = DNR (Do Not Resuscitate), and a doctor can unilaterally place a DNR on a patient, without consent, without a witness, without a signature, and without a DNR bracelet. The jury sided with the defense. My wife, our daughter Jessica, and I had legal power of attorney, which is an invention in their legal system, but this didn’t matter to the jury.

Last week, I filed a motion for a new trial. The motion rebukes the injustice of the court.

In short, I believe that newly discovered evidence showed Judge McGinnis’s personal bias.

Specifically, the judge denied all of our Motions in Limine (MIL) without discussion.

A motion in limine is a pretrial motion in the U.S. legal system, derived from the Latin phrase meaning “at the start” or “on the threshold,” filed to request that certain testimony or evidence be excluded from trial before it is presented to the jury. These motions are typically discussed outside the presence of the jury and are used to prevent the introduction of evidence that is irrelevant, inadmissible, unfairly prejudicial, or potentially harmful to a fair trial. The primary purpose is to avoid the jury being tainted by information they cannot unhear, even if an objection is later sustained.

The motion requests a new trial based on the denial of the MIL. The following are clips from the Motion, organized by subheading.

Today, I want to get back into the nefarious details surrounding her death. I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on her last day on earth and then tie together the Motion filed last week with these facts.

Before I begin, please take 10 minutes to read this article published by The New American on October 11, after the reporter conducted post-trial research on the case.

For a larger perspective, please take a moment to review the timeline below. We presented this timeline to the jury during Grace’s trial. Online viewers could not see this timeline because it was on the court’s television screen, outside of the camera view.

Already at midnight, the nursing staff was increasing Precedex. By 7:00 a.m., this drug was at or above the rate that caused two prior overdose events.

The previous evening, October 12, Jess was with Grace, and she Facetimed Cindy and me, as well as her nephews. She easily proned with oxygen saturations at 98/99% on a lower dosage of Precedex. Why the increase?

Bigger picture, during the 48 hours Grace was denied advocacy (in total), the nursing staff increased the dosage of Precedex seven times – all after her known reaction to Precedex, which caused two prior overdose events. It is unconscionable for someone with Down Syndrome to be without an advocate, especially in a hospital.

The Precedex Package Insert, being admitted into evidence, was one of the many items that showed the patient was ignored in favor of the diagnosis. When Precedex was shut off on October 9, Grace was herself and had a great day. After I was “escorted” out of the hospital on October 10, Precedex was started back up. At midnight on October 13, the first entry in the timeline above, Grace had already been on Precedex continuously for 52 hours.

These medical records demonstrate that Grace was chemically restrained before her death on October 13.

At 10:48 a.m., Precedex was “officially” increased to the maximum allowable dosage.

The nursing notes, supported by deposition testimony, show this increase to the maximum allowable dosage actually happened at 8:40 a.m.

At 8:40 a.m., Grace was at a rate 40% higher than the dosages that caused two prior overdose events. These prior events were ignored.

From Dr. Berdine’s (our medical expert) deposition, relative to Precedex:

What is interesting about the timing is that the dosage was increased to the maximum during the hour that Jess was told she needed to go home and take a shower. Nurse McInnis told Jess she had to leave to take a shower because of her supposed belief that the “virus” was aerosolized, and Jess would not be protected due to not being able to wear PPE in the shower. Grace was in a negative-pressure room. She was also outside the window of having COVID, according to one of their gods - the CDC.

During that short window of time while Jess was gone, Grace wanted to get out of bed to use the bathroom. Instead, she was strapped down to the bed and given the maximum dosage of Precedex.

During her testimony, Nurse McInnis stated that Grace was never in physical restraints; however, she said Grace was placed in mitts after the feeding tube was inserted to prevent her from pulling on it. Jess testified that mitts were not used during the feeding tube process, and Grace was in restraints when she got back shortly after 9:00 a.m., after going home to take a shower. Nurse McInnis was Grace’s only patient, which means she put Grace in restraints.

Dr. Shokar’s progress note confirms Jess’s testimony.

Strangely, there was no order for the restraints! Why not?

Consistent with the “inconsistencies” at the trial and in the medical records, take a look at this next record. Interestingly, it was not part of the medical records received in my records request, but was given to the defense by the hospital.

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital did not report Grace being in restraints to the Department of Health Services. Why not?

I want to move on to the illegal DNR order.

Dr. Shokar entered a DNR order simultaneously at the end of the call with me and Cindy at 10:56 a.m. on October 13. Why didn’t he simply say, “Since you decided you don’t want to give us a preauthorization to intubate Grace, I’m going to enter her as DNR on her medical chart.” That simple communication would have made the difference between life and death. Instead, he presented a hypothetical of having to keep working on Grace over and over in the event of her heart stopping AFTER getting us to approve a feeding tube because “Grace had such a good day yesterday that we should work on nutrition.” We were unaware of the DNR order until it was too late. As we learned at the trial, Nurse McInnis “forgot” to put the purple DNR bracelet on Grace. That would have been an alarm bell that would have facilitated us immediately removing the DNR order from Grace’s record. Think about how fast Jess would have called us if a DNR bracelet had been put on Grace.

Since the COVID PSYOP, many studies have been done. Here’s a not-so-surprising research article regarding the use of DNR orders on patients with Down Syndrome:

The article explained that from January 2019 – June 2022, if the patient had Down Syndrome, he/she was 630% more likely to have a DNR status ordered by the hospital. This statistic is a result of a review of records from 825 hospitals representing 1,739,549 patients with COVID. I was quoting from this article when asked the question regarding my perspective. The defense objected, and the judge sustained the objection. Now you know the truth.

Cindy and I approved the feeding tube during the call, which started at 10:12 a.m. Dr. Shokar told us Grace had such a good day on the 12^th that we should work on nutrition and get her moving so she can get out of the hospital in the next several days. We were not surprised based on what Jess had told us about Grace’s oxygen level overnight.

The approval of a feeding tube facilitated the kiss of death. Nurse McInnis justified the feeding tube even though she described Grace as “near death.”

Nurse McInnis combined Lorazepam (at 11:25 a.m.) with the already overdosed Precedex – unilaterally. The reason given at trial was that Lorazepam was necessary to control expected anxiety related to the feeding tube. Why didn’t Dr. Shokar mention Lorazepam during the “informed consent” discussion regarding the feeding tube? Grace was already on maximum sedation with Precedex – think about this for a moment. More importantly, Jess was there to comfort Grace, but was kept away from the bed by Nurse McInnis.

Nurse McInnis gave Grace two more doses of Lorazepam at 5:46 p.m. and 5:49 p.m., even though she charted Grace as “somnolent min/no response.” Grace was now at a dosage of Lorazepam 50% higher than she had ever been during her brief hospital stay. Lorazepam has a 12 – 14-hour half-life.

Dr. Shokar ordered, and Nurse McInnis gave Grace morphine at 6:15 p.m. morphine Package Insert warnings are plain to see for anyone who wants to put patient care above hospital protocols. He also ordered her to shut off Precedex before giving Grace morphine.

Dr. Berdine testified that the combination of drugs Grace was given has a synergistic effect.

Additionally, Grace did not have a detectable blood pressure at this time, according to Nurse McInnis’s own record at 6:09 p.m.

This fact led to Dr. Berdine’s testimony that giving Grace morphine was the worst clinical decision he has ever seen in over 46 years of medical practice. Dr. Berdine’s case summary is posted on YouTube.

A responsible doctor and nurse are to be closely monitoring the patient and have the reversal drug immediately available. Neither happened. According to her trial testimony, Nurse McInnis left promptly at 7:00 p.m. [Her timecard, the length of the courtroom away from her station, showed she punched out at 7:36 p.m., nine minutes after Grace died – she testified that she didn’t know Grace died until the next day.] Jess’s testimony stated that Nurse McInnis would not come into the room when Jess felt Grace getting cold, but instead told Jess ‘That’s normal, just cover her with a blanket.’ Furthermore, Jess testified that Nurse McInnis told her, ‘we’ve done everything we can for your sister’ - after 7:00 p.m. Dr. Shokar’s shift ended at 6:00 p.m. He was in Grace’s room until approximately 6:30 p.m. He called me at 6:43 p.m. to inform me that ‘Grace had another good day and he just gave her morphine to slow her breathing down.’

Was the Precedex shut off before the morphine, as Dr. Shokar ordered?

During the trial, one of the most notable testimonies was that Precedex was shut off before the morphine injection, contradicting the medical record. Dr. Shokar stated that he didn’t believe the medical record. Their nurse expert, Julie Davis, testified that the recording of entries is often late and noted in the records that way. Interestingly, the culprit is again Nurse McInnis. Look at how she recorded the 6:15 p.m. morphine injection, at 6:30 p.m. – the late entry is noted with parentheses:

Now look at how she recorded the Precedex being turned off at 6:37 p.m.:

The morphine and Precedex entries were recorded within 7 minutes of each other. There was no late recording notation for Precedex. The jury saw another anomaly but decided to look the other way, siding again with Goliath.

Finally, what about the nurses standing around, claiming Grace was DNR, refusing to do anything after we screamed that Grace was not DNR? Dr. Berdine testified that Naloxone should have been given to reverse the morphine, and the reversal agent for Lorazepam should also have been given. In Dr. Shokar’s deposition, he acknowledged that reversal drugs should not be ignored because of code status:

The defense knew of everything I presented in this report (other than the article regarding Down Syndrome patients and DNRs), and this was only Grace’s last day. What did they do with these facts?

They hired six experts to uniformly testify that the treatment of Grace met the Standard of Care AND that Informed Consent is not necessary in an ICU. Even further, they claimed (and the jury agreed) that when you enter a hospital, you are giving implied consent to their protocols. The experts for the defense presented a case that had nothing to do with the medications that killed Grace or the illegal DNR order. Of course, that was their job.

As we know, protocols can kill people.

Dr. Berdine’s testimony regarding Informed Consent and the Standard of Care was 180 degrees different. He was the most credible expert at the trial.

Even more important, because of the denial of the MIL, the defense was allowed to attack our family’s religious beliefs and beliefs about the medical system developed after Grace died. From pp. 9-10 of the Motion:

I believe the jury could have gotten it right if it were not for the denial of the MIL. Denial of the MIL facilitated the defense being able to paint me as an outsider – a conspiracy theorist. Again, this is what they were paid to do.

We’ve been programmed to believe the legal system is a justice system. Hopefully, more are waking up to the anti-Christ systems that are being used to control the world.

The veil has been lifted. People saw what goes on behind the curtain, some for the first time.

Before getting into the message, I want to first show the world who God gave us and the reason we’re in this fight against evil.

Where does the lawsuit fit within the vision?

When we were called into the fight in January of 2022, Cindy and I wondered if Grace would be the one.

Genesis 50:20 has been our motivation to help save others.

The lawsuit is/was a small puzzle piece in a bigger vision.

God showed me, in July 2022, not to use Grace’s story to expose evil because it fits into Satan’s angel of light playbook. Satan deceives even in changing the Scriptures (I encourage you to research Ephesians 5:11). To that end, I’ve been bluntly challenging that less evil cannot fix evil. There’s a choice outside of the dialectic traps Satan uses to deceive. God calls us to shed His light on evil and rebuke evil. That’s not the same as ‘exposing’ evil. In Revelation 13, God warns us of Satan’s dual nature, used to control us through the anti-Christ and false prophet beast systems of the world. It is this message, along with how to escape the trap, that I’ve been given to share with the world. Jesus gave all of us a warning that I mostly ignored until Grace’s death woke me up. In Matthew 12:30, He said, “Whoever is not with me is against me.” His ways are not of this world.

It was after this vision and related warning that He opened the door to a lawsuit. Why? His timing is always perfect.

The lawsuit has saved more lives, both physically and spiritually, than we could have expected by facilitating an opportunity to get the truth out to those with ears to hear.

It is now time to look forward to continuing on the path God gave me. A friend shared Luke 9:62 with me last week. In this verse, Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

In this update, I’ll provide more context for the lawsuit and then connect it to our calling.

What was the case about?

Grace died at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin, on October 13, 2021. By God’s providence, we were able to file a wrongful death civil case in state court.

Originally, we believed our case would be about disability rights violations. Specifically, Grace was without an advocate for 48.5 hours and was restrained to the bed, without consent.

The legal team did a summary of Grace’s rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act:

Because of this research (Grace’s ADA rights expired upon her death), we didn’t file in federal court; we filed the complaint in state court, based on five claims:

· Wrongful Death

· Medical Malpractice

· Lack of Informed Consent

· Medical Battery

· Declaratory Judgment

After surviving numerous pre-trial motions to dismiss, we entered the trial with the five claims, all based on the medications administered to Grace, without consent, and the unauthorized DNR order.

This timeline was presented to the jury on the court TV screens, and zeros in on the essence of the case:

Is a loss better than a win?

Hundreds have reached out directly to say, “I’m sorry you lost.” I explain that there is nothing to be sorry about. I’ve never worked so hard on something only to lose. Of course, I’m disappointed, but I prayed for God’s will to be done. God is sovereign, so I am content with the outcome.

God knew (He’s omniscient) the verdict before the trial began, so He must have something bigger to accomplish with a loss. He is in the business of saving souls. His ways are above our ways. Social media is spreading the news so people can be prepared. Praise God!

The stunning verdict has impacted many people who thought we couldn't lose, given the evidence. I understand. I was shocked too.

Zooming out, we went into their legal system and played by their rules. If we had won, it could have had the opposite effect. Specifically, people could have seen the win as “justice” and/or that the system works, instead of seeing God’s hand, and giving Him the glory. When you see that “God’s got this, dad” we can praise God regardless of a win or a loss.

A kind lady wrote to me shortly after the verdict. Her note helps explain what God may have in store for us.

"I have seen your case show up on more and more mainstream news sources with much less bias since the unjust verdict. Mainstream media know that public opinion is strengthening against medical tyranny and medical abuse. Mainstream media has quoted statements you said about God and Christ, which is a great heavenly victory, because they have tried to portray themselves as secular people in the past. I have noticed more balanced coverage of the unjust verdict on Yahoo News and even MSN. When the media know there is a huge public outcry against a great injustice, it looks better for them to provide more balanced news coverage.

Our nation needs to reform many areas of our society in order to create a functional and moral society that follows God. The negative verdict, which makes no sense, exposes the medical brainwashing and corruption in the courts for all of the world to see. In contrast, your calm responses show your faith in God for all of the world to see."

Why did we file a lawsuit?

The case was never about justice. They nailed the King of justice to the cross. What does justice look like in a case like this? Repentance. Praise God this question was asked during the trial. Writing a check, assuming we won, is not justice.

We would not have filed a lawsuit unless God called us to do so, through a series of providential events. Why? Satan is the prince of this world. We entered the world’s legal system. By doing so, we submitted to their process and Godless rules. This system is designed to provide an illusion of justice in Satan’s quest to imitate God. Think about this reality in the light of Jesus’s words in Matthew 12:26: “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” From my deposition testimony:

Additionally, a lawsuit makes no sense - logically:

The jury did not know of the $750,000 cap as stipulated by both sides. Assuming we’d be successful in their system, we hoped for an excessive verdict. This would have allowed us to take the case to the State Supreme Court in an attempt to have the unlawful caps removed for future victims. We had already agreed not to take any money personally, assuming we won, consistent with our calling. This fact was declared both publicly and in my deposition testimony. Our team didn’t bring this fact into the trial; we wanted the case to be strictly about the medicine that ended Grace’s life and the unauthorized DNR. Again, from my deposition testimony:

In short, “tort reform” was designed to protect the medical industrial complex.

The legal system was designed to create an illusion of consequences for the wrongdoers who are minions in their beast systems. The reality is just the opposite, by design. In God’s economy, there are consequences for choices. When consequences are taken away, what should we expect to happen?

Big picture, our responsibility is to rebuke and shed light on evil

Grace’s story has become the face of 1,200,000 Covid deaths facilitated by government incentives. These incentives drove the deaths, and the fear porn used to convince people to get jabbed.

It was humbling to have many who cared come to the trial in support of Grace. Many had lost loved ones to medical staff in different hospitals across the country, and others came as friends. We’ve also received hundreds of e-mails, comments, and cards.

The following statistics were the motivation for my deep dive into government control of health care:

We’ve been lied to. ”We have the best health care in the world.” How can America be #1 in this category? It worked. Fear motivated the vast majority to get the “vaccine”/bioweapon jab. 600,000 have already died of the jab, and countless have permanent disabilities.

We live in a world where the legal part of the beast system provides no consequences for the medical offender. On a macro level, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 eliminated downstream liability for “vaccine” manufacturers. During Covid, the 2005 PREP Act provided immunity to the medical community for following government-incentivized “recommendations.” The rights of the disabled under the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act expire upon death. In civil cases, the state statutes all but bar a lawsuit from ever seeing the light of day under the guise of tort reform. Why does the medical industrial complex have no consequences for its choices? That is not God’s way.

The lawsuit gave us an opportunity, like no other, to shed light on the medical and legal evil that has been deceptively hidden and further the mission God gave us to save lives.

What’s next?

We’ll keep on the mission we’ve been given. A verdict against us doesn’t change our calling.

Immediately, the physical warnings I’ve been sharing are now even more urgent.

The government has made state actors out of hospitals and doctors who accept Medicare and Medicaid. They follow the rationed care model, which hastens death. This is done through programming the lies of collectivism and the need to balance the budget (we have a fiat currency). Rationing care = standards of care = hastening death = medical murder. Why? The lie facilitating medical murder is that there are too many people on the planet, so there are not enough resources.

How did we fall for this trap? As God warned in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, we fall for peace and safety every time Satan uses fear. Our sinful nature (laziness and not wanting to be accountable) makes us easy prey. Satan deceives us with lies, creating fear, so he can legally trap us with “solutions.” We then turn over our God-given freedoms for the illusion of peace and safety. Think about the lies of 9/11 and Covid from that perspective. What did we legally agree to? The Patriot Act and the “vaccine.” We traded freedom for the illusion of peace and safety. Satan is a legalist and uses this method over and over to turn our God-given rights over to the state, putting us in chains, through our legal participation. However, we are responsible for our choices, which is why I am confident the only way out of this mess is repentance. The new king and the new HHS secretary are providing an illusion of a solution. Once you are awake and repentant, you don’t have to participate any longer. It is time to take back the freedom God gave you.

Right now, I encourage everyone to proactively exit the medical industrial complex and prepare for a hospital stay before the need arises. How? Once you change your false belief that hospitals are safe zones, and doctors and nurses have pure hearts and only want to help, you will clearly see some simple steps:

1. Get your critical thinking back by dropping your medical insurance. Reclaim the ground you gave up before you were awake. Samaritan’s Ministry is an option.

2. Find a medical professional who does not accept Medicare or Medicaid, so they are not controlled by the rationing care model the government incentivizes.

If our lawsuit did nothing else, it showed the world that the standard of care for informed consent is subjective, which means they will do whatever they want based on what they believe is right, not what you believe is right. I’m going to quote a good friend, because he instinctively saw (during the trial) what I’ve been seeing as I have been rebuking the ‘evil versus less evil’ dialectic we’ve been programmed to believe.

“Take note of all the talking heads you worked with over the years, and note their conspicuous absence during this trial, even on mentioning the trial. Whose side are they really on? Who and what do they really care about? What does their absence imply?

I include Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson. Where was he in all this? Why didn't this trial behoove him to be a leading spokesman nationally, as he is a U.S. Senator and hosted several panels where these ‘medical freedom’ doctors were whining about losing their licenses, acting like victims of this insidious profession they are clinging to?

This is predictable in the big scheme of things. Those who have eyes should see this trial scared many who should be scared of exposure. On the surface, they appear to be in control. They are not. They are simply effective with their PSYOPS, misinformation, and theater.

Be sure that all these people were tuned in and were watching this closely. I may be wrong or misinformed on some of them, but I was looking around for coverage in some obvious places, and found not a mention, except the comments I left behind. They, too, might as well have been on that jury.

I, for one, remain disgusted by all of them, both inside and outside this trial. As these ill-trained legalizers and pundits would say, "the preponderance of evidence is overwhelmingly clear against them."

I agree with you wholeheartedly. This was a landmark case for the whole world to stand behind, or, at least, actively learn from. Stick with the ones who tuned in and supported this event, then question openly those who didn't. You may not realize this yet, but your trial exposed them, too. There was a distinct line drawn.”

The take-home message – a dad’s job (if you take nothing else from this message, learn this lesson)

Grace made this drawing after Travis died. She wrote, “Dad is a bundle of nerves. It is his job to keep Grace safe.” The most important message I could ever share with you is this: don’t let fear control your decisions. Grace is not here because of my fear of Covid. I had to repent for not trusting God. One of the reasons I speak out now is that I don’t want others to make the same mistake.

In Hosea 4:6, God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” It is not red-pill knowledge He is talking about. It is knowledge of His ways. He never uses fear to control us. God cares about each individual. The collectivism lie that became legal precedent in 1905 with the Jacobson vs. Massachusetts Supreme Court ruling and further legalized with Obamacare, has permeated our culture – that’s what this jury showed the world. It is time to reclaim the ground we’ve given up.

If I knew what true advocacy meant, in October 2021, Grace would be with us today.

The jury's decision establishes that patients lose all rights upon admission to the hospital. Doctors can administer any drugs without consent. Families need not be informed of dangerous medications or overdoses. Under this premise, doctors can unilaterally impose DNR orders without the patient's or family's knowledge.

As I stated earlier, when Cindy and I jumped into this fight in January of 2022, we wondered if Grace would be the one - the one God would use to shed light on the medical industrial complex. She was and is. She has shed light on a lot more…Satan’s legal control and his programming of the masses.

At the end of the story, there's a beautiful soul who was a shining star, no longer with us because of the banality of evil towards God and His creation.

Grace gave up her life to save others with ears to hear.

Last week, I was asked what Grace would be saying right now. She would tell me, “God did it, dad,” and “Keep going, earthly dad.” Of course, I will, buddy.

Finally, Grace is the one who God used to show me that repentance is the only answer to our way out of this mess…stay tuned.

I started working on a summary of the trial this weekend. It is much more extensive than I expected and will be finished this week. I’m no longer under a gag order, which adds to what I have to document for the record.

In short, I’m shocked by the verdict, but not surprised for many reasons that will be fully explained in the comprehensive summary I’m working on.

Based on the jurors’ immediate questions, after receiving the case, the jury deliberated for only 15 minutes in a case that lasted one day short of three full weeks.

Our team presented a better case, better witnesses, better experts, and had the truth on our side.

The defense, through their experts, said that by being in a hospital, you are giving implied consent, and that the drugs that euthanized Grace were normal in an ICU, so no informed consent is necessary. Doctors informing the family is not even necessary for the two prior overdoses; the third overdose killed Grace. Finally, their experts stated that a DNI = DNR and a doctor can unilaterally place a DNR on a patient, without consent, without a witness, without a signature, and without a DNR bracelet.

The jury decided in favor of the defense. Only one juror stood against the verdict. In Wisconsin, there must be 10 of 12 jurors on either side. It was all over quickly and swiftly.

This decision should scare anyone with ears to hear. Informed consent for medications is dead, and a doctor can unilaterally put a DNR on a patient without consent.

Big picture – Grace was born September 22, 2002; Grace went to heaven on October 13, 2021; the wrongful death lawsuit was filed April 11, 2023; the jury trial begins on Monday, June 2, 2025.

Regarding the purpose of this e-mail…

God also tells us to pray without ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. What? God wants us connected to Him all the time. This is an attitude that puts God’s will as the most important aspect of our lives.

Our family is following God’s call, under Genesis 50:20, to save lives. When we jumped into this fight, we told God whatever doors He opens, we’d walk through. A lawsuit, in an anti-Christ legal system, is one of those doors.

Now that I’m on this walk, I see where God’s miraculous hand has taken us, and where we obviously need prayer for His guidance.

Some examples of God’s hand, since Grace’s death

1. The hospital I was at, three days after Grace’s death, was using a completely different protocol than used with Grace – showing me what was possible if the patient is put above profits.

2. Receiving Grace’s medical records four days after requesting them.

3. Guidance from a doctor friend to understand the records to understand what happened to Grace.

4. Newsmax having me on live television two months after Grace died facilitated the media opportunity God has given us to share the message.

5. The Medical Examining Board's report of their “investigation” of my complaint opened the door to becoming a researcher into the medical industrial complex.

6. God showing me the spiritual agenda behind what we are seeing in real time.

7. Assembling the legal team and their acceptance of me as the fifth member of the team.

God’s providence is 100% of the time when you look. I’ve only listed seven things here. There are literally thousands of things that have happened to prepare us for this exact moment. What about before Grace died? God knew. Here’s a big one…I found out I had heart disease seven years ago this month. That started a process of training the men in our business to take over. That fact is why I have the time available to do the work God has called me to do!

Specific prayer requests

That His will be done in every situation. We don’t know God’s reason for opening the door, or whether it is His will for us to win or lose at trial. We do know that He already knows the outcome! We know He cares about the process and how we react to the multiple roadblocks in this system. He cares that we show love, grace, and forgiveness with each opportunity presented. Jesus never lost connection with the Father. I want to walk that way, and your prayers would be appreciated.

For the repentance of those who were involved. God holds each of us accountable for where we are at, from blindly following orders, to looking the other way for a paycheck, to treating the medical system as an idol. I hope each person caught up in the medical industrial complex will step out of his/her comfort zone and see that this system is designed to cause blindness to the Great Physician. I want to have the attitude of forgiveness Jesus had toward those who killed Him, while He was on the cross, when He said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” If hearts respond with repentance, I want to extend the same mercy God has extended to me. This may be the most important thing to pray for.

For protection and strong health. God has His hedge of protection around us. There are many important players who also need prayers for protection to be able to reach the short-term goal of finishing the jury trial strongly: our legal team; our experts; the judge; the jury; the defense.

For the power of the Holy Spirit. This lawsuit is/was a long row to hoe. Only the Holy Spirit can provide the power, the strength, the wisdom, and the humility to see this task to the end. Personally, the grind of the lawsuit has had me question ‘why’ many times.

For the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has allowed all of this for a reason. The only reason I’m certain of is to share the urgency of knowing Him. Please pray for doors to continue to open and for our family to share The Truth.

God’s view of justice

Two Scripture passages provide God’s perspective.

First, Isaiah 59:14-15: Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands at a distance; for truth stumbles in the public square, and uprightness cannot enter. Truth is lacking, and whoever turns from evil is despoiled. The Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.

This note, from a devotion sent to me earlier this week, is outstanding:

“This passage was written hundreds of years before Jesus’ birth, but it is a perfect picture of the world we’re living in today. Justice is elusive. Righteousness is mocked. Honesty is unwelcome. Truth is stumbling in public. Those who shun evil are taunted. The Lord sees it all and is surely displeased. Many people think truth is relative, and every person creates his own truth. Many think that justice means an equal outcome for everyone, and it can be achieved through political and economic solutions. But God is the ultimate source of truth and justice. Apart from Him, there is no truth, and there will be no justice. And governments cannot solve our problems because at their root, they are spiritual problems. People will find real truth only when they humble themselves and turn to God and His Word. Real justice will be achieved only when people invite God to come in and change their hearts. Our problems are many, and God’s people must respond by bringing God’s light and truth into our homes, our workplaces, our communities, and our nation!”

Second, Romans 12:17-19: Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

What does justice look like in a case like this? First, repentance. The defendants have no idea the extent of their blindness. They don’t realize our work will benefit them, their families, and their friends. Second, stop the behavior. If God uses Grace’s death to hold individual doctors and nurses accountable for their actions, it will send shockwaves through the industry. Third, our family’s calling is under Genesis 50:20, which says: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” God has given us a platform to share what we are learning. As souls wake up to the physical and spiritual goals of the system, each one has a new responsibility to rebuke evil and starve the beast. Finally, and personally, I’d like Grace’s death certificate to be changed to the true cause of death. Assuming we win, writing a check for Grace’s death is not justice.

In closing

God hears every prayer. There is nothing He cannot do. He cares about each of us getting closer to Him and believing “God’s got this, dad,” as Grace would say.

Praise God for this opportunity to have Grace’s death be a light to others both physically and spiritually; and for the opportunity to shed His light on evil. I’m thankful Grace’s death has not been in vain.

June 2, 2025, is the first day of the trial, beginning with jury selection.

• Defendants: Ascension Health, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, and individual medical staff members.

Why:

The trial will examine allegations of negligence, lack of informed consent, and medical battery. The plaintiff also seeks a declaratory judgment for the DNR order and medication combination that the plaintiff alleges resulted in his daughter’s death.

The May 19 and 20 pre-trial hearing has concluded. All of the summary judgment motions were dismissed, which means the entire case is going to be heard at the jury trial beginning June 2.

The jury trial proceedings will take place over approximately three weeks, as expected.

Important updates:

1. Jury selection is expected to take the entire day on June 2, as previously announced. Jury selection is a public event.

2. The signup platform has morning and afternoon slots for the three weeks expected for the proceedings. The morning times Judge McGinnis advised will be 8:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., and afternoon times will be 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please click the picture below to go directly to the platform we set up for the trial.

3. The judge is going to designate the gallery to be split between the plaintiff and the defendants. If either side of the gallery is not full, the open seats will be available.

4. There will be no cell phones allowed in the courtroom. It is best to leave your cell phone in your vehicle or at home so that you do not accidentally bring it into the courtroom.

5. There will be no talking, whispering, or gesturing allowed in the courtroom.

6. The judge will not issue a warning for violations. The judge has indicated that he will not hesitate to have a person detained should any violation occur.

7. Attire. The judge does not want the public to try to influence the jury. That means NO shirts, clothing, or accessories promoting our side of the case. Do not wear ‘Grace Wins’ shirts or buttons, or any shirt or accessory with any message of any kind, even if seemingly harmless.

We are thankful that we will have the opportunity to present our entire case to a jury. “God did it, dad” -as my best buddy would say.

1) What was the cause of Grace’s death?

This is what Ascension’s attorney wrote in his Summary Judgment motion filed on March 31:

For reference, this is what Dr. Shokar wrote on Grace’s death certificate (note she died “naturally”):

How can one of the people responsible for Grace’s death also sign the death certificate? Isn’t that a conflict of interest? Interestingly, the coroner’s office refuses to investigate any death taking place in a hospital. Why? The attorney for the hospital explained in his Summary Judgment motion (p. 32), “Physicians are invariably acting in good faith and for the benefit of the patient…” So, physicians get a free pass on sin? I wish I were joking.

2) Regarding what the doctor told us and what he recorded, versus what he did.

This is what the doctor wrote at 12:57 p.m. on October 13 – 6 ½ hours before Grace was killed!

For context, Grace “required” Precedex because they strapped her to the bed and made her defecate in the bed!

3) Why haven’t I been named as an expert in this case?

Good afternoon,

We are finally ready to begin the sign-up process for the June trial. We want to pack the court. The courtroom has limited seating, so we are asking that you sign up for a space to help ensure you will have a seat. It has been three weeks since my last update, for a reason. The legal team has worked diligently toward significant deadlines in the judge’s Scheduling Order.

The 411…

Onto the message in the title…

After sitting through all of the doctors and their “experts” depositions, I’ve reached this conclusion: They believe Grace got Covid, and Grace died of Covid, so we should get over it. Why? What they have written is only exceeded by the arrogance with which they deliver their unified message. I’ve included a few examples below.

From one of Grace’s doctors’ reports:

In the same report, he wrote, “The patient’s family was following the misinformation from the frontline physicians with their vitamin cocktails and ivermectin…”

When asked about these statements, under oath, he responded as follows: “People who were vaccinated tended not to get as sick and recovered from COVID better than those who were not vaccinated.” And: “We had experimental treatments that potentially had better information for usage than, say, ivermectin. Well, it has no activity against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It's an antiparasitic agent. It's for worms.”

In one of the expert reports, regarding Grace’s chance of survival at home:

“If Ms. Schara had not been admitted to St. Elizabeth’s on 10/7 and returned home with oxygen therapy, she would have died from her COVID-19 days before 10/13/21. Similarly, if her father had taken her home from the hospital after admission to St. Elizabeth’s, she would have died sooner than she did.”

In another expert report, he creatively blames me for Grace’s death:

“The care team at St. Elizabeth’s hospital offered the standard of care for COVID treatment in October of 2021, and respected the family’s wishes to not add therapies above and beyond dexamethasone.”

Finally, this expert statement summarizes why they are right, and we are wrong:

“In conclusion, Ms. Schara unfortunately died from COVID-19 pneumonia and refractory hypoxia. She was at increased risk death from COVID due to her underlying Down Syndrome and the fact that she was unvaccinated. The care team at St. Elizabeth’s hospital did everything they could to save Ms. Schara’s life, within the goals of care clearly expressed by her family.”

Some bigger picture facts I’ve learned in this process…

1. If you die in a hospital, it is considered normal. Coroners don’t investigate hospital deaths, by design.

2. Upon entering a hospital, the admission paperwork creatively turns over your rights to the ‘saints in hospital garb.’

3. Even if you haven’t submitted to the admission process, here’s what the District Attorney had to say about me challenging what happened to Grace: “A doctor is not required to administer treatment she or he believes is not medically effective. This includes authorizing a DNR. The parties clearly had a dispute about how Dr. Shokar should treat Grace. Dr. Shokar did not abide by the wishes of the family. However, there is no law in Wisconsin that requires him to do so.”

4. Medical insurance (both private and public) only pays for protocols that doctors have to follow in order to get paid AND they risk losing their licenses if offering alternatives. This includes chemotherapy with a 97.9% kill rate. They are legally bound to not offer solutions!

Conclusion…

I share these things because unless you change your belief regarding how you’ve been programmed to trust the white coat, you will not be prepared.

The Interview

On Monday, January 13, I was invited to be interviewed on ‘Stand Up For The Truth’, a live radio podcast of Q90. This station and staff have been extremely supportive of our mission since we began in December of 2022. They were one of the first to believe Grace was murdered.

The interview gives a good overview of what happened to Grace and the lawsuit and helps frame the alarm we are sounding to save lives. Please take the time to listen and share with friends. We are only four and a half months away from the jury trial and would like as many prayers and supporters as possible.

Grace was treated inhumanely – strapped down and euthanized; an illegal DNR order. Grace was a gift from the Lord. Grace is one of millions who have been murdered in hospitals. Her case represents all those who don’t have the opportunity to let the world know what is going on behind the curtain.

Even though we are up against “City Hall” and they are bigger than us, we know “God’s got this” - as Grace would say, and He is truly bigger than them. We’re in this battle because of the doors God has opened and we know He has a plan for what He wants to accomplish with this lawsuit. We are thankful and humbled to be part of the process.

Finally, our current lawsuit is a civil lawsuit for wrongful death. In the first release of deposition transcripts, I explained what we are hoping for from this case, along with the various hurdles to jump over. When you read these details, you can get a glimpse of God’s hand in this process.

An extremely important footnote…the criminal route is open to all because there is no statute of limitations on murder. I would encourage everyone to get the hospital records of their loved ones and have them reviewed. We have resources on Grace’s website to facilitate the review process. Then, formally contact your District Attorney with the evidence. We each have a voice in this fight against evil.
