My sister died in the car of a monroe community hospital she was on a ventilator and was being weened off . My mother left her at 1 am and by 6:45 she went into cardiac arrest ! They told us My sister was being aggressive throwing things amd that she was banging her head on the floor. She was sent to strong hospital with severe brain damage . We felt something was off about this, and have been trying to find a lawyer to take this case because the state and justice center will not investigate at all. We never received an incident report, internal investigation report , and they refuse to give us any medical records. We have finally found one lawyer after having called dozens amd having to relive telling what supposed happen to my sister at the care of people we trusted. She was 27 years old . I am so sorry for your loss and I hope you get justice for grace as well as we hope we get justice . My sister was doing so well even though she had a tracheostomy she was recovering very well. We are confused and want and need answers. I am so glad to have found your story unfortunately under these circumstances. Stay strong and continue to fight for a change , we definitely will!!! I had a bit of a problem myself. I lost my Down Syndrome son in January 2023.
They didn't wait for me to get to the hospital before they started him on Morphine.
